What does an automation consultant do?
The consultant maps the current process, finds the real constraint, redesigns the workflow, selects an appropriate implementation, and measures whether it works.
The first deliverable is understanding, not software. Interviews, process traces, sample records, and timing data reveal where work waits, repeats, fails, or depends on undocumented knowledge.
The redesigned process defines ownership, inputs, decisions, outputs, and exceptions. Technology is selected only after the team agrees on how the work should move.
